Cancún, Quintana Roo — With the presence of authorities from the tourism sector, business leaders, hoteliers, and international delegations, the 37th edition of the Cancún Travel Mart was inaugurated, establishing itself as the most relevant tourism commercialization meeting in the Mexican Caribbean, Mexico, and Latin America.
The president of the Cancún, Puerto Morelos, and Isla Mujeres Hotel Association (AHCPM&IM), Rodrigo de la Peña Segura, emphasized that this forum represents a key platform for strengthening commercial relationships and consolidating the growth of an industry characterized by its vision for the future and its commitment to the sector's development.
He also underscored the opportunities that will open in 2026 with large-scale international events, such as the Soccer World Cup.
During the inauguration, the Governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama Espinosa, highlighted that tourism holds a priority place in the "Plan México" promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum, as an engine of well-being and prosperity for communities.
The 2025 edition of the Cancún Travel Mart brings together more than 500 delegates, 200 companies, and representatives from 27 countries, including tour operators, travel agencies, and other tourism service providers.
In the previous edition, held in 2024, 3,850 business appointments and negotiations worth over 4,950 million dollars were finalized, representing a 15 percent increase compared to 2023. A total of 163 companies from more than 20 countries participated, including the United States, Germany, Spain, and Brazil.
The Cancún Travel Mart 2025, which takes place on October 22, 23, and 24, consolidates Cancún as a strategic meeting point for buyers and suppliers from America, Europe, and Asia, and as a national example in the generation of effective tourism business.
