The city council of Benito Juárez has called off a public auction of municipal assets due to adverse weather conditions. The auction was scheduled to feature 165 vehicles and 9,626 items of furniture and office equipment.
This decision was made in response to unusual weather patterns and in line with advice from relevant authorities. The council has called for heightened precautions to ensure the safety of public servants and potential auction participants.
The postponement is intended to protect all involved until the extraordinary weather conditions that prompted this decision have improved.
