SEMERNAT published the guidelines for the management of sargassum. Several sargassum disposal sites were visited and collection points were reviewed.
So far this year, a total of 133 Quintana Roo development projects with environmental impact have been settled in the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat).
In the next six days, about 3,700 tons of sargassum will flood Riviera Maya beaches from Xcalak, on the Costa Maya, to Punta Maroma, on the Riviera Maya.
